4 July - The Pegoulado: Provence in procession
Friday evening kicks off the festivities with the Pegoulado, a grand traditional parade in period costumes.
Dancers, musicians, gardians and Arlésiennes parade through the illuminated streets of the town. It's a spectacular immersion in the soul of Provence, where traditions are lived in the present, to the sound of tambourines and the cadence of Camargue horses.
6 July - The Costume Festival: elegance and emotion
On Sunday, the Costume Festival sublimates the identity of Arles. In the ancient theatre, the young girls are presented to the Queen of Arles, dressed in sumptuous traditional costumes handed down from generation to generation. This emotional moment is a vibrant tribute to elegance, pride and local history. Every detail - lace, ribbons, embroidery - tells a story of Provençal heritage.
7 July - La Cocarde d'Or: bullfighting passion in the arenas
On Monday, it's adrenalin time with the Cocarde d'Or, a legendary Camargue race in the Arles arenas. The best bullfighters compete with agility and bravery against the most famous bulls in the manade. This intense, codified and spectacular spectacle is a must for lovers of bullfighting traditions.
